2. Giving directions in North Ollerton
Imagine you are in North Ollerton at JD Chemicals. At lunchtime you want to go out. Several
people ask you for directions.
Look at the map (written Exercise 4) again and decide which would be the best way to describe the way to each person. Do not write down the directions. You can first draw lines on the map if you wish.

Study the picture below. You can see a businessman in three different moods. Think about how he feels and what happened to him.
Start by describing the man in a few sentences (his clothes, face, hair etc.) and say something about the job he could do. Then say a few sentences about each of the three pictures. What happened to him? How does he feel?
Record yourself. Say between 10 and 15 sentences altogether (about one minute).
