1. Imagine that a new colleague doesn’t know how to use the photocopier in your office. Tell your colleague how to use the machine. The list below shows the order of the steps, but you may have to add some details. 
Speak in complete sentences and record yourself. You should speak a minimum of 70 words but no more than 100 words (5-7 sentences). 
You can make notes before you record yourself but you should not write down com- plete sentences because this is not a reading exercise.

2. Leave the following message for a colleague. Insert your own name. Read the text and record yourself.
Hello, this is .... We need to find a new supplier for our traditional dolls’ clothes. Please contact the Chamber of Commerce and ask if they have a list of manufacturers. We should place a trial order with five firms; perhaps three different items of clothing with each, but only items they have in stock. Oh, and of course, we need a copy of their catalogues as well. Please send me an email with your selection. Thanks.

3. The following sentences are very rude. Make them more polite and then read your sentences aloud and record yourself.
